The framework I coach with

What is CliftonStrengths?

CliftonStrengths (formerly StrengthsFinder) is an assessment from Gallup that measures your natural patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving — and sorts them into 34 talent themes. Instead of fixing weaknesses, it helps you invest in what you're already wired to do well.

The core idea: build on what's strong.

Most of us spend our energy patching what we're bad at. Decades of Gallup research point the other way: the greatest room for growth is in the areas where you already have natural talent.

A talent is a natural way of thinking or behaving. Add knowledge and skill, invest deliberate practice, and a talent becomes a strength — the ability to consistently deliver near-perfect performance.

Talent × Investment = Strength
  • Used by more than 37 million people worldwide
  • Backed by Gallup's decades of research on human potential
  • Use your strengths daily and you're up to 6× more likely to be engaged
  • 33.39 million ways your Top 5 can combine — no two profiles alike
The four domains

34 themes, organised by how they contribute to a team.

Every theme belongs to one of four domains. Strong teams cover all four — they get things done, win people over, hold the group together, and think ahead.

How it works

Three steps from quiz to real change.

01

Discover

A 30-minute online assessment ranks your natural patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving across 34 talent themes.

02

Understand

Together we read your results — not as labels, but as a language for how you do your best work and where you get in your own way.

03

Apply

We turn insight into practice: habits, decisions, partnerships and conversations that aim your strengths at real outcomes.

The report is the easy part. The coaching is where it lands.

Anyone can take the assessment. The value comes from making sense of it — seeing how your themes combine, where they help, where they trip you up, and how to aim them at what matters to you. That's the conversation I'm here for.
